Calbarrie Compliance Services provides Electrical Safety Testing and Compliance across the UK with a full range of electrical, fire and emergency light services and an impressive list of clients. Currently we are seeking to appoint someone who possesses great organisational and communication skills to help co-ordinate the scheduling of our testing programme.

As a Scheduler you will be an important part of our busy Scheduling team based in our Cheltenham head office. You will be required to co-ordinate the diaries of a team of engineers and book work in with clients. You should be an energetic team-player and demonstrate excellence in customer service and a willingness to learn.

Objectives of the Role:

  • To co-ordinate the day-to-day scheduling of a team of engineers in a specific geographical area
  • To liaise with clients over the telephone to book work in delivering to strict deadlines
  • To act as the main point of contact for internal and external enquiries on scheduling of works in your area of responsibility
  • To liaise closely with Account Managers identifying and responding to client testing requirements
  • To ensure all appointments are made to a set criteria agreed by the company
  • To utilise the company’s scheduling and customer relationship management systems
  • To manage your own workload ensuring work is prioritised appropriately
  • To provide ‘ad hoc’ administrative support to Sales and Accounts teams as and when required
  • To comply with the company’s Health & Safety policy and legislation

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • Excellent communications skills; verbal and written
  • Experience of working in a busy office
  • Experience of scheduling and working in a similar industry is advantageous but not essential
  • Driven and self-motivated
  • Enthusiastic and willingness to learn
  • Strong organisational skills; the ability to work under pressure and manage your time effectively
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Strong team-player
  • Computer literature
  • The role entails desk-based work
